Weekend Getaway

I'm an LA girl and everything but once in a while LA can get a tiny bit overwhelming. For once, I needed to get away from horrible traffic. I was going home from work one day and it took me 2 hours to get home! Work to home is only 6 miles!!! PREPOSTEROUS.

Look how happy I am here though! Good golly! Free oranges and no traffic?! Who wouldn't like that! Plus, my outfit coordinated well with the orange trees. It was definitely orange connection at first sight.

Personally, I like to plan my outfits accordingly based on where I am heading to. For example, If I am heading to a place reminiscent of the country side, I would where clothes that have warm undertones (think reds and oranges). On the other hand, if I was in the city, a red plaid shirt may not necessarily work. Instead, I would probably opt for neutral tones (think beige, blacks, grays, and whites).

Since it was a cold chilly day, I decided to opt for my boots and long sleeves to keep me extra toasty.

Hope you enjoyed this post!
