Beverly Hills, California

I love Beverly Hills. Shoot, I live a block away from it! Because I live minutes away from the city with the most expensive zip code, I decided to make a quick stop to Rodeo Drive and took some pictures.

I absolutely love this dress from Self-Portrait. The designer is based in London but was born in Malaysia. I felt it fitting for me to buy this dress to support my fellow Malaysian. When I first got the dress in the mail, I did not realize how heavy the dress was. The dress literally weighed 3.5 pounds! However, It was made with such great quality and material! Definitely worth every penny.

I adore this dress because of its femininity and structure. Therefore, I decided to pair the dress with a bag that had clean lines and kept the look formal. I didn't want the outfit to look too formal. I wanted the outfit to have some fun. Therefore, I decided to make the outfit a little casual by styling the dress and bag with flats.

Rodeo Drive is a site for tourists. You'll see rows and rows of high end fashion retailers and restaurants. It's also normal to see expensive cars on the streets of Beverly Hills (think Bentley, Rolls Royce, Maserati, Bugatti). People who are not use to seeing such cars on the streets will do a double take and take pictures of them. I have spotted so many that seeing such cars are a norm for me. Beverly Hills is definitely known for its upscale environment. For me, Beverly Hills is just a place that I frequently visit, shop, and dine at.

Because I work in Santa Monica, I pass by the city of Beverly Hills daily. Everyday, I would go window shopping in my car as I drive pass Rodeo Drive. Once in a while, I'll do some actual shopping at Rodeo, but I try to resist chopping branches off my money tree as much as I can.

Hope you enjoyed this post!
